Bought this t-shirt in 1993.....
Stussy was one of my main influences for getting into the clothing industry in 1992. Nobody did it better in terms of overall design, quality and vibe. He was the first guy to really create a hybrid between music, skate, surf and street culture. I went into the Stussy shop into 1993 in NYC and bought some jeans, t-shirts and caps which I still own today. The shop was super small and they were playing Souls of Mischief and A Tribe Called Quest and it was pretty amazing just watching what was going on in there. Now everybody tries so hard in their shops to create a vibe and in the Stussy shop, they were the vibe.
I have been following the S-Double line and have bought a couple of pieces from Shawn and can now wear Stussy product once again with a smile on face. The non version of Shawn injected Stussy is not even close to what Shawn was doing and is doing now with S-Double.
