Biography

Ralph is a self taught designer, photographer and creative director with a diverse background in music, athletics and clothing.

Over 10 years in the music industry at BMG Music. Founded and launched Rip N Hammer clothing designed for cyclists and triathletes along with designing for Saucony and Cervelo. Revolutionized the golf industry in 2001 with the launch of Dunning Golf, the very first company to offer a complete range of player specific apparel manufactured exclusively of performance fabrics. In 2007, Zach Johnson introduces the Dunning brand to a worldwide audience while winning The Masters and forever changing the way apparel is worn in the game of golf.

In 2009, Ralph launches a full range of performance and lifestyle apparel worn by 3 time Ironman World Champion, Craig Alexander. Ralph's designs have been sold at the world's best retailers including Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Harry Rosen along with 500 of the world's top private resorts and specialty shops.

Ralph is an avid cyclist, trail runner and triathlete. Completed 6 Ironman Triathlons ( including the 2009 World Ironman Triathlon Championships in Hawaii) and 3 marathons ( qualified for the Boston Marathon) with personal bests of 10:21 and 3:05 respectively.

Ralph has been featured in Esquire Magazine , Outside Magazine, Men's Journal, GQ, The Robb Report, Cigar Aficionado, Golf Digest, Wall Street Journal and The Golf Channel.

Ralph's photography is inspired by what he sees on bike rides and trail runs. The majority of his photographs are taken or discovered while being outside. This approach to photography provides the opportunity to see the planet from a different perspective and truly appreciate the sights we encounter.

Ralph is a proud member of the 1% For The Planet which is a global alliance of companies committed to investing 1% of their annual revenues to campaigns for clean air, pure water, safe food and wild places. Each year, 1% For The Planet donates millions of dollars to hundreds of organizations. This means each product, photograph or design you make part of your life gives back to the planet.

Ralph's design background has taught him to appreciate old school construction and a handcrafted approach to manufacturing. In a world of "off shore" and mass market manufacturing, Ralph appreciates the way things used to be made and should be made today. Slowly and carefully.
